PTERODACTYL is Electron Flight’s FPV-ready VTOL tiltrotor platform—designed for pilots who want true hover capability and efficient forward flight in one airframe. It builds on our patented PTERO (Passive Tilt Electric Rotor) technology: the rotors tilt with differential thrust instead of relying on extra servos, linkages, or dedicated tilt actuators.
That mechanical simplicity is the point. Fewer moving parts means a cleaner airframe for FPV gear, a more direct control feel, and a transition between HOVER and forward flight that doesn’t depend on a complex tilt mechanism. PTERODACTYL is aimed at immersive FPV flying where precision in the hover and speed on the wing both matter.
